Danièle Loach offers private voice, piano, and music theory lessons from the comfort of students’ homes around Midtown Toronto.

Danièle holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Toronto with a focus on voice and education. She teaches advanced voice (to the equivalent of an ARCT with the Royal Conservatory of Music), intermediate piano (to the equivalent of level 6 with the RCM) and music theory.

Some previous roles include being the Music Director at Montessori Jewish Day School, a Rehearsal Assistant with the Canadian Children’s Opera Company, and the Youth Choir Director at St. John’s York Mills Anglican Church. She has been teaching music privately for over a decade.

Performance Experience

Danièle has sung professionally in St. Thomas’s Anglican Church, St. John’s York Mills Anglican Church, Christ Church Deer Park, St. James Cathedral, St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Fairlawn Avenue United Church, Rosedale United Church, Blessed Sacrament Catholic Parish, as well as Trinity College, Knox College and St. Basils’s at the University of Toronto. She has sung in Meridian Hall as a member of the Elmer Iseler Singers in “Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy” and, in her youth, the Canadian Opera Company’s productions of “Cavalleria Rusticana” and “La Bohème”.

Danièle has been a chorister in Grace Church on the Hill, St. Ansgar Lutheran Church, Holy Rosary Parish, the Toronto Mendelssohn Youth Choir, the Pax Christie Youth Chorale and the Women’s Chamber Chorus at the Faculty of Music. She toured England as part of a choir-in-residence for Westminster Abbey, Canterbury Cathedral, and St. George’s Chapel (Windsor Castle) as well as the Maritimes in the production of “The Hobbit” with the Canadian Children’s Opera Company. She founded a quartet, placed gold in Kiwanis competitions, and received honours with the RCM in piano and voice.
